Costa Almeria

Costa Almeria consists of 200 kilometres of coastline fringing the south east corner of mainland Spain.

It is the richest province in Andalucia producing 3.5million tons of fruit and vegetables annually with an annual export value of €2 billion.

It has excellent transport links with access to Almeria Airport, the new Corvera Murcia Airport and Alicante Airport within 1 to 2 hours’ drive from the coast.

The national high-speed train network, AVE that connects Madrid and Barcelona is currently being extended from Murcia to Vera, Almeria with an investment of €121 million.

A well-established holiday destination. Almería Airport welcomed 1 million air passengers and 2.6 million visitors in 2019 drawn to its natural parks, unspoilt beauty, culture and gastronomy.

Property prices are lower than Costa del Sol with the holiday home market seeing steady recovery since 2015.
